Sungei Simpang Trail
A leisurely paddle into one of the last riverine mangrove on our shores. If you have never paddled before, this trip would be a good introduction. The kayakers will learn about the Giant Fig, snails, rubik cubes, lobsters, and why there are plenty of babies in the mangrove. Be inspired by the “beauty and brains” of this riverine system.
Simpang River is one of Singapore’s last remaining mangrove rivers, and home to many species of birds and creatures.
Palawan
Explore some of the most inaccessible and beautiful islands of the Philippines. The last frontier. From Linapacan Islands to the El Nino Islands, this downwind sea kayak journey takes one from deserted white sandy islands, to the eclectic beach town reminiscent of the good old days of travelling.
Kusu-Lazarus Trail
This is a paddle of transcendental significance!
First we land on the impermanent beach of Lazarus Island, which only appears during certain tides. After getting your life back reconnecting with the outdoors, we head to Kusu Island to bask ourselves in the longevity of the resident turtles. If that is not enough, climb the 152 steps leading to the kramats (Malay holy shrines) and pray at the Tua Pek Kong (Chinese) temple. If nothing works, laze on the tranquil beach of Kusu and see life anew!
